On November 13th, luxury fashion label Hale Bob transformed its Melrose boutique into an afternoon destination for fashion, music, and celebration. From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the brand hosted a “Layers of Luxury” event at 8551 Melrose Avenue, bringing in an impressive crowd of influencers, stylists, and creatives across Los Angeles’ fashion and beauty communities. The party featured Hale Bob’s Fall 2025 collections, reflecting the brand’s unique artistic direction and vision under head designer Daniel Bohbot.
As guests stepped inside the boutique, the atmosphere immediately gave off Bohbot’s creative energy. Grammy-nominated DJ Mark Lewis spun a live set that infused the boutique with upbeat mixes, encouraging guests to mingle and engage with the new Hale Bob collections in a relaxed setting. Yamashiro Hollywood, one of Los Angeles’ most iconic dining destinations, provided four large sushi boats filled with sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls for guests. Attendees made several return trips to the food table throughout the afternoon, enjoying the fresh, chef-selected offerings. Hale Bob also served trays of colorful macarons arranged in assorted flavors, adding a sweet finishing touch to the celebration. Drinks at the bar were provided by Vodkucha and NA Beverages, adding a refreshing twist to the afternoon. Light cocktails and non-alcoholic options let attendees indulge comfortably as they explored the boutique and its new seasonal designs.
A number of notable personalities attended the event, including fashion influencers Gizem Sahin, Katja Glieson, and Jessica Rich. Their presence brought an extra dose of glamour into the space as they tried on their favorite pieces and shared real-time content with their audiences. Actress Dayea Lee and comedian Ediza Ferris also joined the party, representing the broader lifestyle and entertainment communities that are drawn to Hale Bob’s aesthetic. Groups of stylists, bloggers, editors, and brand partners mingled and connected over fashion and the shared experience of the afternoon over the span of the 4-hour event.
The exclusive preview of Hale Bob’s Fall 2025 Collections revealed the brand’s latest designs. The Fall 2025 season includes the Uptown Girls collection, the Retro Geo line, the Wild Bunch collection, and Moody Blooms, a romantic look at florals and atmospheric colors. Throughout the boutique, guests also gravitated to racks featuring the brand’s new line of outerwear, an expansion that represents a new era for Hale Bob. Known for its breezy dresses and feminine patterns, the brand is now embracing a more layered approach for fall dressing. The debut of Hale Bob’s trench coats was one of the most talked-about introductions of the afternoon. These pieces reflect Bohbot’s vision to design clothing that supports women year-round, not just in warmer climates. The coats show that Hale Bob’s design philosophy has grown into more seasonally-dynamic fashion.
The boutique also displayed Hale Bob’s new tweed pieces, which were a favorite among influencers and stylists who attended “Layers of Luxury.” The standout Magdalena Boucle Tweed Jacket, offered in shades of gold and black, received significant attention. Its boucle wool-blend tweed fabric, accented with fringe and a subtle shimmer, is complete with front pockets and a secure button closure, making it an eye-catching wardrobe staple. Many guests commented on how well the jacket could transition from daytime outings to evening events. Another admired piece was the Elina Boucle Tweed Dress, also offered in black or gold. A chic mini dress with 7/8-length sleeves and delicate fringe trim, the Elina dress impressed attendees with its versatility. It offered a corporate outfit suitable for business meetings, yet featured enough detail and polish to be styled for upscale nights out, too. Influencers who tried on the dress loved its flattering cut and its ability to be worn along with Hale Bob’s new outerwear line.
Social and experiential elements also strengthened the afternoon. The event provided a welcoming environment where attendees connected with the brand and with each other. Guests mingled while enjoying signature drinks, Yamashiro sushi, and colorful macarons. Hale Bob’s team, including designer Daniel Bohbot, engaged with guests throughout the event. Originally from Paris, Bohbot brings romance and femininity to Hale Bob’s collections. His presence added personality to the afternoon, letting attendees hear firsthand about the design inspirations and future direction of the brand.

As the afternoon progressed, attendees were gifted with goodie bags featuring items from Hale Bob as well as generous contributions from event sponsors Adipeau, LMNT, and Native Union. These bags, designed with influencers and VIP guests in mind, offered beauty, wellness, and lifestyle products that extended the luxurious spirit of the event. In other words, “Layers of Luxury” successfully captured what Hale Bob is becoming: a brand that produces beautiful clothing and creates rich, immersive experiences. While Hale Bob has always been celebrated for its resort-ready dresses and prints, the Fall 2025 collections are a shift from the romanticism of Hale Bob’s earlier era, now paired with pieces that embrace cooler weather and personal styles.
The Melrose event showcased Hale Bob stepping into a new chapter. As fall enters full swing and wardrobes become more layered, Hale Bob’s new collections help women to rediscover the art of dressing for the season.
