In a world that often rushes to label artists, Elena Nuzman stands apart as a true musical original. Born into a family where music was not just a profession but a way of life, Elena’s journey began almost before she could speak. The daughter of a concert pianist and a violin virtuoso, she seemed destined for the stage. By the age of two, she was already sitting at the piano, recreating small pieces by ear. Recognizing her extraordinary gift, her parents nurtured her talent at home before enrolling her, at just seven years old, in a prestigious lyceum for highly gifted children, an institution known for shaping world class classical musicians.

A native of Moldova, she lived and performed in Russia, France, and the United States, while also enchanting audiences in Israel and Canada. Her journey eventually led her to Germany, where she studied at the respected Robert Schumann Music Academy in Düsseldorf. There, she earned her Master’s degree in piano studies. It was also during this period that she discovered the full magnitude of her voice. Although she had always loved to sing, it was at the academy that she chose to pursue it professionally, realizing the extraordinary power and range of her four octave voice, marked by an unmistakable acoustic color.
A turning point came almost by chance when Elena entered a song contest and won first place in the Rock Pop category. From that moment, a new chapter began. While the piano remained her foundation, singing became her true passion. As she herself describes it, using the voice as an instrument and emotionally connecting with an audience is an experience unlike any other.
Her growing confidence as a singer was further strengthened through various musical engagements in Dubai and Germany. In 2009, she made a remarkable debut as a vocalist with the album I Believe in You. The release captured immediate attention, blending grand pop arrangements, heartfelt ballads, and energetic rock covers. The album entered the German newcomer charts at number eight, climbed to number five, and remained in the Top 10 for an impressive period. A television spot on RTL even referred to it as album of the year, marking Elena as a rising force in the European music scene.
Following successful tours and celebrated performances, including appearances on New York’s Broadway, Elena turned inward for her next artistic statement. Her second album, Liebesträume or Dreams of Love, represents a return to her roots while also signaling her evolution as a composer and storyteller. Inspired by romantic classical masterpieces, the album unites classical themes with modern popular arrangements in a way that feels intimate and cinematic.
For the first time, many of the album’s twelve tracks are Elena’s own compositions. Each song is accompanied by her masterful piano playing, transforming every performance into a deeply emotive experience.
